Movies

Movies are one of the biggest sources of entertainment, especially in Hollywood. Billions of people watch them, and they vary from genres like horror, comedy, action-adventure, documentary, and the list goes on.

Personally, I love to watch movies, but I can be quite a couch potato. I'm sure a lot of other people like to do other things, like outdoor activities or whatnot, but I'm not like them. I'm not much of an active person; I am only when I want to be.

Movies, movies, movies...

Uh, so... Let's talk about the movies in theaters. Honestly, I haven't really been to the movie theater for awhile. I think the last movie I saw was Nick & Norah's Inifinite Playlist. (Okay, so I guess it hasn't been that long...) Now that I brought that movie up, I'm going to change the subject.

Lately there has been a lot of books being made into movies. Is it because they love the books so much that they want to create a movie of it? Or is it because they ran out of good ideas and this is their "cheap" way out? And how many of those movies have stayed loyal to the book or they just turned out to be just plain horrible?

Instead of ranting, I'll just say my opinion on Nick & Norah. Many, many people did not know that Nick & Norah was actually a book (at least most of the people I know). I read the book when it came out, and I'm guessing almost two years ago now. In this instance, the movie of Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist stayed pretty much loyal to the book and didn't "ruin" it. The only difference that I noticed was Norah asking Nick if he could be her boyfriend for five minutes. In the book, Nick asked Norah if she could be his girlfriend, and whatnot... There are a couple of minor changes, but overall it stayed pretty true to the book, and it turned out to be a pretty good movie. I enjoyed it :)

I believe in some sort of force that isn't part of a normal psyche. Some call in intuition, others say it's something between twins (could it be?), some call it the bond between a mother and her child...

Who knows? Some things just can't be proven or disproven, they just remain a mystery.

Love the tree picture.
